Duc founded Wonder Rates in 2016. However, the company only experienced breakthrough growth from 2021 onwards – when Duc dedicated 100% of his time to home loans. Right from the name, Duc wanted to emphasize that his business provides services with “wonderful rates,” among the lowest in the market. Duc’s criteria for selecting teammates are a love for the work, enthusiasm, and dedication to the job. Many people ask me: with low interest rates and high employee salaries, where does the profit come from? My answer is a win-win mindset, where everyone wins. Low interest rates make it easier for people to buy homes, and high salaries attract talented individuals.

Thanks to that mindset, Wonder Rates quickly gained a large customer base, and the rate of repeat customers or referrals is also high. After a year of focusing on Wonder Rates, in 2021, Duc was ranked 15th in the Scotsman Guide’s Top 100 Mortgage Brokers in the United States, with a transaction volume of over $277 million USD. In 2022, Duc achieved 5th place with $380 million USD, and in 2023, Duc ranked 9th with $214 million USD.
